The other day I posted about a new purchase I’d been mulling over and having trouble making a call on. The trouble with any purchase of this nature, is that there are many variables and it’s not always easy to compare apples to apples. In this case it was a case of finding the best lens at the right price, and the body to boot. I want a slim camera + lens which takes great shots (for travelling), but that wouldn’t make me yearn for my DSLR image quality at all times.
A decision has been made – I went with the Panasonic Lumix GF2 + twin lens kit. I don’t even know if I’ll use the 14-45mm lens, but not buying it now would have ended up being more expensive in the long run. Who knows. Either way, in 3-5 working days I’ll be toting around a brand new lumix. Watch out!
